8. The competition is only open to beatboxers. Only sounds from the human mouth are allowed.

9. A jury composed of 3 judges attends the competition.

10. The mission of the jury is to assess the competitor’s level and to give their individual Top 10 ranking to the Battle commissioner at the end of the Qualification Round.

11. During each stage, the jury makes its decision at the end of each confrontation and chooses the winner who moves on to the next stage.

12.1. The competitors present themselves alone to the jury and do beatbox for 90 seconds straight.

12.2. When all the competitors did their round, the commissioner transmits the classification to the presenter who calls the qualified in Top 8.

13.1. The selected competitors compete in 1 against 1 according to this format: Part. 1 – Round 1 / Part.2 – Round 1 // Part. 1 Round 2 / Part. 2 – Round 2.

13.2. Each round lasts 90 seconds.

13.3 The Battle breaks down into these stages: Top8 – 1/4 final // Top4 – Semi-final // Top 2 – Final.

14.1. The winner of the competition is automatically selected to participate in the ASTRO BEATBOX BATTLE.

14.2. Various rewards are given to the two finalists according to the Partners-Lots engaged for the event.

15. Prohibited actions that may lead to jury penalties

15.1. Hit/touch the opponent during his round.

16. Actions resulting in disqualification

– Insult or using inappropriate words or expressions of a sexual, racial, physical or religious kind.

– Any participant that has been called 3 times by the Speaker and doesnt come on stage will be declared “DISQUALIFIED”.

– The participant deemed aggressive, offensive, dangerous or with inappropriate behavior by the organizers will be disqualified from the competition and asked to leave the event immediately. Measures prohibiting access to future events may be pronounced against this person.

TITLE 2 : ASTRO BEATBOX BATTLE

1. The event called “ASTRO BEATBOX BATTLE” is a BEATBOX competition organized and produced by MELOCRATIE, association based in Orléans.

3. Participants will need to sign a code of conduct at their arrival.

4. MELOCRATIE provides the sound system, stage, dressing rooms, catering, accommodation and a meal in the evening of the battle.

5. Participants must come directly to the venue at 6:00 p.m. on the day of the event.

6. The competition is open to all participants selected by the organizers and aged over 13 years.

7. A participating teen must be accompanied by a legal tutor.

8. All applicants have the same opportunity to participate, regardless of race, gender or experience.
